A new app that helps you manage your own healthcare career could be the solution to a few healthcare problems.
The app, called CareWork, allows you to make appointments with your healthcare professional to schedule appointments for the doctor, nurse, pharmacist, or dentist.
This can be done anywhere, and with a single tap, you can schedule your appointment and schedule your pay.
“I think that if you’re in a situation where you want to make sure you’re doing well, that you’re not over-doing it, or that you need to be able to stay healthy and get things done, then it’s really important that you have the option to schedule an appointment,” said Susan Wojcik, a clinical assistant professor at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
“When you get that option, you’re able to take control of your healthcare journey.”
Wojciks app has received support from the US Food and Drug Administration, and is available for free in the Apple App Store.
She also said the app could be useful for those looking to hire a healthcare professional, but has found that many healthcare professionals are not comfortable with scheduling appointments with their healthcare professional.
The company is also planning to expand its reach beyond healthcare, which will also see it offer its service to students and families through a partnership with the University.
The healthcare team at the school have been working with CareWork to ensure that students can get the most out of their training, and the app’s development is part of the process, said Wojiks.
“We’re hoping that we can really tap into the passion that students have for healthcare and give them an opportunity to connect with someone who will understand what they’re going through,” said Wosciks.
Wojjick is currently an Assistant Professor in the College of Public Health, which is where she is teaching a course called “Approaching Health Care: Creating a Healthy Workplace,” and she said she hopes to teach the app to students through the spring semester.
The app can also be downloaded from the App Store, and CareWork is currently looking for other healthcare professionals who can help test out the app and provide feedback.
